why do people always ask us to hold dreams when we all know it will always remain as just mere illusion of your self drawn perfection which you will never reach in eternity. but perhaps again that was their aim, to see us crushed and down, so that they can slap their hands together and throw their heads back in glee. go ahead. i am not stopping you. but that was all a thing of the past, i have now learnt my lesson. they ask whats a life without dreams. i answer it as living in reality. dreams is a privilige to those who deserve it. i've left mines somewhere along the road long ago.

interesting job which you enjoy with less pay or boring job that you hate with more pay?

isnt it obviously how a majority of us tend to bend towards the latter.
we all try to puff our chest and insist that we will not, but reality along with time will prove to us, how unrealistic the first is.
they say do what you really want, what you like.
that is only to humour you while you still have the time and energy to spare and play about.
but as you grow older, they slowly tell you to stop playing, stop being stupid, stop being unrealistic when they were the ones who used to bend over and coo at you "next time what do you want to be?" and regardless of whether you answered superman or the ice cream seller, they coo back "WAHHHH, thats good!"

and now when you even dare to mention anything which starts with "I want to..." you get slapped back with a glare and the famous line...

i thought i had a shock when i went for KAT-TUN`s concert, mowota`s are a million time more amazing.
their fandom-ness AMAZES me BIG.
80% was to enjoy the concert, 20% was to observe the wotas XDD
and yupp, i am not going to whine or weep or be emo about konkon graduating.
sure, i cried myself MAD, screaming and screaming and weeping, but then, at the end, i am so glad i manage to scream omedetou loudly, smiling.

and that aside for now, i really truly enjoyed the concert.
H!P is really L O V E.
when they started off with all for one and one for all, i could almost tear. the whole feeling was just so.. H!P. the whole family kind of aura. from the most familiar Morning Musume, Biyuuden, Nono to Berryz, C-ute and Eggs... just like the song, all for one and one for all. and the best part, everyone was really like one, dancing and screaming and jumping together, the adrenaline rush was out of the world. Tsunku is a genius, without a doubt. H!P is LOVE. period.

the song list was surprisingly good. wasnt really pleased when i first saw it, but i guess, when you are there watching them live, everything is cool. C-ute is infectious. i so regreted not buying all three of their singles. their songs are so so addictive. bought masara blue jeans only... now i want soku dakishimete and ooki na ai de motenashite badly. airi-hime pwns my soul totally. she is really mature and kickass for someone her age. her vocal is almost too good for H!P standards, and her new hair is just so hawt. (ok i know using hawt to describe a 10 years old is wrong but...) and MAIMAI x shades ROFLMAO. such a darling. *pats head* she is sooooooo small, but the energy level and professionalism is so there. there you go. i am biting my own tongue again. months ago i was still mocking c-ute, and now i am their fan.

oh, digression but same applies to GAM. listening to their new song now... i guess when you have ayaya x miki, nothing can go wrong. they are both undoubtly the better vocals H!P have. yes, i am complimenting Mikitti. miracle befall. but i really really loved her boogie train `03 performance. she really shines on stage. and her hair was really pretty that night, and she isnt half as annoying when she smiles. but yah, i still dont like her. next.

First there was Eri x Risa Hajimete no Happy Birthday <3 Love this song tons, but i dont think it was anyone's birthday then but still who cares. i kinda like this pairing, but not as much as ai x risa T-T it'll do though. GAKI-SAN, ERIRIN <3 their voice really suit the song, maybe not so much gaki-san, but eririn is really the next rika i guess~

Nono`s solo performance of Uwasa no Sexy Guy was wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy cool. feathers. LMAO. but its really sad that she fell off the stage on saturday, so it wont be in the dvd i think... T-T whyyyy. i liked the performance. though nono-tan is nowhere near sexy, but i love her squeakish voice. I miss W T-T aibon come back...

KOI*KANA.

Screamed my effing throats out the moment the melody started playing. I shocked myself even. A handful of wotas turned back to glare at me, but i couldt give a damn and kept screaming and jumping like i dropped half my brains or something. And i really love the dance too *points points* YAY <3 SAY <3 love the song with my soul. She is a miracle to make me say this. Ok, but my love for Koharu stops here. Only for the song and her as tsukishima kirari, not as Morning Musume Kusumi Koharu.

OH YES. and Berryz new song is L O V E too. MIYABI <3 i love her solo parts best. so was kinda peeved when momoko took over her parts on sunday cause she was absent from the concert due to school events *sobs* i think my favourite member in Berryz moved from Risako to Miyabi XDD but Risako still really throws me off my feet. i really cant believe she is still primary 6. she is so... sexy. LMAO. ok wronggggg. but sexy. XD esp when she appeared for second MC, with half her yukata off her shoulder *screams* ok i am a girl k. and her performance with ai-chan and airi-hime for Goodbye Natsu O was kickass. though ai-chan pretty much pwned the whole thing. ai-chan is really solo frontal material. she is really loud and strong live. IMHO definitely better than reina. and REALLY pretty and cool too. and may i remind all that Ayaya's songs aint easy to sing to start off with and, its is GOODBYE NATSU O of all songs, and she screamed the entire song on saturday and still had voice to sing it on sunday *bows* she is the queenie.

when musume came out i could almost cry. i so love the camera man. all focus was on Konkon (DOH , but still, i am damn deprived so dont mind me) her smile was gorgeous. she really shined very brightly on stage. her energy level, the never fading smiles, her sincerity, her every move. my eyes was absolutly LOCKED on her every single second. i SWEAR i will never find anyone else i love more than Konkon. Not even Jin. I would have really killed myself if i missed this last chance to see her. And there will never be another person who can take over her position in MM after she leaves. I almost hope they never ever sing Namida Ga Tomaranai Houkago ever. I cant bear the thought of someone singing her parts (i predict her lines will be given to Sayu, and as much as I love Sayu with my every being, please no. and if they dare let Koharu a single solo line in this holy song, i swear i will rip her ponytails off her scalp.) Koharu should stick to her Koi*Kana. Its really good. ah where was I. AMBITIOUS. The first time i could reach all the notes cause i as practically ripping my entire throat out screaming the song. And its so much fun to dance together too <3 BOYS AND GIRLS BE AMBITIOUS. *does hand sign* JUMP JUMP TAKE OFF SHIYOU ZEEEEEEEEEEE! its interesting how everyone participates in the concert with their every cell, not just waving sticklights, but actually performing together, cause every jump and move, the lightstick synchornizes and its really really cool. though i am jealous that the ojisan wotas dances WAYYYYY better than me. *hmmmph* well i dont spend 14 hours a days dancing to PV dance shots anyway.

Renrebo21 was extremely high too, without a doubt one of the best MM number ever to date. and the HOYYYY <3 love the dance and vibe to the song. sayu got a nice nice solo line in the song too (: but right after the song, they cut straight into konkon and makocchan's letter reading. GAH. i was so unprepared please. (ok i lied, i knew it was coming) but still... with every second into the concert, only meant Konkon's graduation from MM's nearer. I love love love konkon and makocchan together so much. their letters to each other was really sweet, and if i am not wrong makocchan is older than Konkon but somehow it seemed that makocchan was taking care of Konkon, and was telling her that no matter how far apart, they will still be as loving and that she will always be there for her no matter what. of course i knew all along, but through this, it hit upon me even more how much makocchan was a strong presence amongst MM whom everyone can lean their shoulder on and gain power from. Not only Konkon, even ai-chan and yossui. It sort of saddens me, how much she done but all these goodness of her is not so very widely known to everyone. She is really sort of like kei-chan, the nanny like person of the group who everyone can look up to. But makocchan come across to me though one of the interview i read, as someone who has her fair share of insecurities and such, but even despite all that, she still takes care of her own problems, and of others. Its really sweet... and a really really shameful lost to the group.

But i started bawling like mad when Konkon was about to read her letter. She couldnt read them for a moment as she was sobbing and choking on her words. Surrounded by the full hall of pink lightsticks, and everyone chanting her name in unison.
I cant tell you how glad I was there that moment. It was almost like a dream come true to be able to take part in her graduation. And I couldnt stop crying as she read her letter, and her 5 years trip as a Musume ending that very day. All the images just rushed though my heads even as I head my eyes locked on her. Times when she first entered as a Akaten, then slowly as she began to improve, 13 nin gakari no x'mas, HPH, her intelligence in Okajo, her splendid run in sports festivals, her first solo lines in Do it! Now, her first main lead song, the blissful looks when she eats something or when she wins in magic restaurant, all the tears she shed in all the senpai's graduation, till today this very momeny, her own's. Yet surprisingly, i wasnt as sad as i thought i would be. Instead, i was happy for her. because she chose this path on her own, and i admire her bravery to not choose the steady path already there for her, but an uncertain and shaky path, but nevertheless, her own choice, to chase after what she want, after her own dream. She is really the most amazing person I have ever met.

for anego we didnt get to see much about jin except that he got ditched by his girlfriend (LMAO)
and they focus more on work in sapuri then love as compared to anego
plus anego was interested (almost desperate) to be in love, while minami in sapuri is the opposite
so in conclusion the only common point that sapuri and anego have is

Knowing that attending another MM event without Konkon around anymore will only make me break down… but it will be Makocchan’s last stage, and I want to watch it.

Been doing some thinking again just now.
7 days left exactly till I will be flying off to Japan.
All these countdown made me re-realize how fast time passes.
And was joking with Miki on msn the other day, how very soon we will all be grannys and dropping dead faster.
But yet I still cant visualize ten years, no, five years down the road, when I finally finish my studies, where will I be?
I still get stumped when people ask me “so what do you want to be?”
What do I want to be?
Can I search yahoo for an answer?
Cause now, I really don’t know.
Why did I choose mass com?
Honestly, I am not as certain anymore.
I don’t hate it, I love it actually, but it is starting to scare me alittle.
The industry and society out there have a trillion people smarter and better than me.
Where will my position be amongst them?
Will there be a space for me out there?
Will I just be another one of the thousand commoners there, getting cheap salaries and worrying about making ends make for the remaining years of my life till I die?

Gah. All this thoughts are scaring me.
Also proven, ONE of the key solution is having AMPLE money.

But for now, I stand with my old quote.

New template and a tribute to Konkon

The first time I saw here was most probably Mr Moonlight’s Popjam performance on NHK. The new girl who could not perform because she injured her leg or something. I didn’t pay much attention at first. Till maybe at the end of the year there was this program “13nin Gakari no X’mas” From there I started to take notice of her. One of the few program which actually focused on Konkon. And I thank god or whoever produced that program. Without that prog, I might have missed noticing her. The whole program was potrayed in a comical manner, but behind it held a very important meaning. Konkon and her insecurity of her place in Morning Musume. Tsunku announced her as “the failure”. And she saw herself as the ‘extra’ and un-needed member. She was the awkward quiet girl. Not as well noticed like Risa was for being the youngest or Makoto for being the outgoing one or Ai-chan for her Fukui accent. The whole program proceeded such that she focused on Morning Musume’s 13 member status, and true, it was funny. But at the end of the show, it was obvious that throughout the whole thing, Konkon was really insecure and uncertain about her position in Morning Musume. She cried at the line “Morning musume is 13 people, not one less. Including you.”
My heart went all out for her and my official fandom started here I guess…

True, she might not be as outstanding vocalwise as compared to Ai-chan or dancewise as compared to Makoto or outspoken-ness wise as comapred to Risa. And she always got chucked to the back during their group photos. Given almost no lines in songs. But I loved how she still tries so hard in whichever position she was given. Even if it means right at the back, right at the side. She was always smiling, always shining wherever she it. Her first big role came in Do it! Now, giving her the opportunity to actually stand in front along with Gocchin and Nacchi together with Ai-chan. She did it splendidly, not backing away from the pressure or underperforming. The seriousness, her efforts. Her first ever solo line.

I will never forget this line for life too.

I swore to god, if I ever saw Tsunku I will knife him in the heart for not letting her sing more. How can she sing something so seriou, cutely while looking serious and stern. By around here, Tsunku gave up promoting 5th gen and focused only on Ai-chan. Never mind. Still I tried to look out for every minor solo line Konkon had, or every few brief second she got camera time. And I don’t regret squinting my eyes to look or trying so hard to identify her one solo line, cause Konkon makes it worth it.

Then came along Ojamaruche Konno from HPH <3
One of the yet another few time she was given a stage to explore. Here she was given extra opportunities to actually talk and host. And the role given to her was something so extreme opposite of her actual character ^^ but she did it so well (as always) announcing news and interviewing with that sweet soft voice of hers. I still remembered grabbing all the old episodes of Hello Morning off H!P tracker just to watch that few minute of Ojamaruche ((:

So dammit whoever pulled her out

And thank you Charmy for coming back, so that Ojamaruche could come back too, with PiMako (they make such a lovely pair)

6th Gen came in without even allowing 5th gen to fully develop yet. Reina pwned the entire Shabondama, a main lead for her debut single, even eri and sayu had longer or more solo lines than Konkon grumbles ok I know it is not fair to be bitter towards 6th gen but I cant help it. I love 5th gen so so much more T-T

HOWEVER.

Namida Ga Tomaranai Houkago came along (((((((((((((:
Agreed, it isnt one of MM’s best song. But it was the first song Konkon got a LEAD.
MAIN LEAD.
This song will forever be a special song for me.
As it was for Konkon.
I didn’t think much of the song the first time I heard it and began my entire kill tsunku curse ritual but the more I listen, the more the song grew on me.
Konkon is the only one who can make such a mid tempo, average song so nice and sweet… and she really brought out the entire message in the song.
And the lyrics so fit my current feelings now T-T

And as the years past, she began to shine in so many other ways to make up for her minus in singing. She aced Bakajo’s test, and proved herself the smartest member of morning musume, was a great athlete by clinching this year’s sports festival’s MVP and saving countless goals for Gatas. She finally manage to find her position in Morning musume and shone brightly.

Also, heard a fan recording of their MC on last week’s Osaka concert. And when they announced that Konkon was graduating, immediately, of course a lot of the wotas were shocked, but yet at the same time, everyone began to shout “omedetou” If I was there, I wont know how I would have reacted. All I knew was when I heard of the news, I broke down. I didn’t want Konkon to leave. I always thought she will be around. Maybe for another two years or more in MM, then maybe as a unit in H!P or soloist even. We thought of so many possiblities, but we left out one. That she would leave H!P and the stage permenantly. I cant bare the thought of not seeing Konkon on stage anymore. No longer being able to see her smiling during performances, or eating so blissfully on H!M, or trying so hard to protect the goal in Futsal. I was petrified at that thought. I whined, cried, was extremely depressed that she was leaving and began to hate everyone in MM, cursing like why didn’t SHE go instead, why not SHE graduate, why do SHE get to stay. I knew I was being very selfish. I really really don’t want her to graduate. But I heard the recording and I realize, this is what Konkon wants. To chase after her dream outside H!P. and she wants our blessings and for us to continue loving the H!P and morning musume she herself so loved. Not hate it just because she left. Cause Konkon will never leave, she might no longer share the same stage anymore, but her spirits lived on forever in Morning Musume. The brightest and cuddliest member ever in Morning Musume’s history.

And even though now I still cant bring myself to say it, I hope on the day of her graduation I can smile and scream “omedetou” to her at the top of my lungs like how all the Wotas wished her.

時間がネーので
よりによって今日が学校新学期初日orz
「たくさんの愛をありがとう」をやっと見ました
聖ちゃん超ー役にあってたXD
つうかはまり役でした
その上サエコちゃんも出演！
声がタマンねーめっちゃ可愛い、泣いたシーンは可愛い！！と叫びながら自分がもらい泣きでした
まーそれを全部ほっといて
ストーリは実話をベースにしたっていうのがまたすごい
こういうドラマやらをみてたら本当に思います
世の中すっげー人がいるんだね。。。
それかただ自分があまりにも自己中なだけなのかな
ほかの人のためにがんばるのは本当に尊敬します。
自分は自分のためにすらがんばれないのですから
それにもう一度「生」と「死」を見つめたら
どうでもいいっと思ったのに、このドラマをみて改めてそれらの意味について深く考ろようになった
「軽い一歩が深い一歩になる」
いい意味ですっごい響いたせりふでした。

(we refering to me andrea jessie) jan and shaojian cabbed home in their merz cab so we walked from merlion to city hall to town to tanglin to crescent to queenstown and at commonwealth we cabbed^^ funfunfun we started walking at 12am + and reached commonwealth at 4am+ madness. and also almost got killed trice. bah slap the past me who was against sitting in front of a computer all day getting miserable pay, typing away for life.
i will willingly do a job like that now, i dont mind being a fregging OL.

i had a nightmare last night!
it is DAMN rare for me to have nightmares can!
the last one i had was so long ago i cant remember
but nightmare as in really horror movie impossible to happen in reality kinda nightmare
not the, dorei and me stuck in the same room or forgot to bring my art and confrontation with tricia goh kinda nightmare
so it happened that i was in this lift (think dark waters please)
then i wanted to get out of it asap and when it was about to reach first floor, it stopped.
yes, dramatically, the lift stopped. and the light flickered.
so when i looked up at the light, there was this...

BABY stuck on to it on top.
and it was opening its eyes really wide and glaring at me.
but at the same time it was also smiling.
it was mud green in color, yes the kinda green you get when you wash your pallet at the end of a painting.
so in shock, i fell on to the ground, and this was the gross part.

it melted. (WTF?!)
slowly bit by bit, its parts dripped from the top like you know the alien slime kind.
and there was this sinister laughter ringing in the elevator.
i was screaming, but the next moment, i was like
`WAIT. this is a dream dammit.`
so i just sat and bathed in the freaking slime.
until nearly half the baby`s face were gone, my patience was as thin as rice paper
so i snapped at that half a face
`you got finish no finish. i am late already (FOR WHAT?!)`

well that was all i remember.

was browsing about some deviantarts photographs and it just made me feel twenty million times more horrible for staying in singapore.
why do everyone get to see such nice nature sceneries?!
a swamp in the early morning, with a thin layer of ice covering over it as the shadows of the dead trees reflecting on the surface.
a country road leading to nowhere, with fences along its side and a beautiful sunset ahead of it.
i want to see all these for myself, but i can only do so through photographs.
this is so saddening.

oh was blogging halfway yesterday at 4am and gave up to go get my precious sleep
but woke up at 4PM to find out that my internet was down, and yes, ingenious me didn`t save my post.

anyway, sleepover was pretty fun (credits to UNO)
celebrated birthdays for yun xuan and evon too
and ingenious lydia had to slam the cake into evon`s face when she was sitting on my sofa.
resulting in chocolate flakes being decorated all over my green sofa cover.
oh and also watched the exorsism of emily rose at 12 midnight.
i rate it 2 star out of 5.
cause i fell asleep.
it was a pretty boring show IMHO.
except evon was D A M N freaked out, she ORDERED lydia to sit next to her and attempted to break lydia`s hand with her grip(LOL)
after that spent 5 minutes persuading evon to watch infection, which resulted in her trying to wake the entire neighbourhood up with her whining but ignored her and watched it only to give up on it since it sucked.
all it showed was about ppl squirting green slime and people trying to compete who can pierce themselves the most time wtih syringes *yawns*
stupid show really.
dukes of hazzard was a failure too which explains why we gave up on the tv and resorted to playing UNO
plus my living room really suck for having a broken air con *growls*
whats more news was saying that recently the temperature have been fregging hot due to some unknown end of monsoon or whatever, heard temperatures are rising to like 34 degrees.
but thank god it was also saying that it will start to rain over the next two weeks ^^

i am growing MOULD.
and the humid weather (now the rain)
isnt helping very much.
plus my entire rythem of life is reset.
my new life pattern:
1. mission impossible to wake up before 12. (damn Lydia for ringing me up first thing in the morning at fregging 8 on friday to scream at me to check my posting. thanks ah.)
2. mission impossible II to sleep before 3 am. I tried to sleep at 12am, i ended up breaking my tetris high score twice and drifting to sleep with blocks mentally falling beneath my eyelids at close to 4 am.
3. my daily activity is as follows:
wake up >> computer >>lunch>>computer>>dinner>>youtube>>hamster feeding>>tetris/gameboy>>sleep
thank god (or bill gates) for computers and nintendo for gameboys

and i saw a theory of life from tetris

theory : you try too hard to clear four lines at one go for a higher score but that one long line block always come in too late. and when you do manage to clear, you realize that clearing one line by one line and clearing four at the same time makes not much a difference.

explanation: we all try so hard in life to want to leap to greater heights, only to realize that it is easier to archieve so by taking one step at a time. And that help do come. but more often then not, too late.

i have taken plane for at least 30 times in 16 years of my entire life but today`s is the worst i have ever taken.

first, the boarding at fukuoka airport was horrendous. it was as though i was lining up for an autograph session just to get pass fregging immigration.

lines up for about 1.5 hr.
and check in was another thing.

oh and luggage limit for everyone is 20kg check in and 7kg to bring on board. my entire luggage was 50+kg to check in 12kg to bring on board. SO... i decided to bring about 24 kg on board and check in abt 30+kg.paid ￥30000+ worth of penalty for overweight baggage. and lugging 24kg of luggage on board alone is NOT easy.
my hands nearly rotted.

anyway, so by the time i got pass immigration it wasa already 12.30pm, my flight was scheduled to take off at 12.but yah, the plane waited.

BUT.

i had to transit at thailand.

so by the time i reached there, i was already on their last call list.and lugging all that baggage i had, i thought to leave the plane later to not obstruct traffic. but they were screaming my name over the intercom and everything, so i just went out of the plane without my luggage and asked `yes?`

and the stewardess reconfirmed is it me that they are looking for and when i nodded they GRABBED my wrist and nearly sprinted off but i stopped them violently for my baggages were still on the fregging plane.

so they started BERATING me. like to hell with manners and all.

`WHY DIDNT YOU TAKE THEM?!`

LIKE HOW WOULD I KNOW THAT I AM ON THE LAST CALL LIST AND IT ISNT THAT EASY TO GET A 15KG BAGGAGE FROM THE OVERHEAD CARRIAGE ALONE.

so they glared at me while i rolled my eyes and waited for my luggage to be thrown out from the plane. and the moment i got them, i was screamed at to RUN, SPRINT, whatever, just to quickly get to the gate as apparantly the plane was about to take off any second.
so she sprinted off with me dying at the back lugging my freaking baggage without so much as giving me a hand.

and i had to freaking climb stairs and all too.
by the time i reached the gate i felt like i ran a marathon.

but i safely got onto the plane.

fast foward when i reach singapore. >>>

yes, finally back in singapore, just when i thought i could just quickly grab all my luggage and speed home. my checked in luggages werent there.

turned out they were still in THAILAND.

yes, all my 102 cds, posters, H!p photos, sweets and soft toys T _ T
and they will only be arriving at midnight and to be delivered to me tommorow afternoon.

if they lost my stuff, i will sue their pants off.
and i am already trying to recall everything i was taught on the topic `complaint letter`

i am wearing three layers of long sleeves and freezing behind my laptop but loving it ^^
i just realized that one and most likely the only thing i miss about Singapore that isnt food is taxi & movie.
just took a taxi back from the movie theater.
cost S$119.
HUNDRED AND NINETEEN DOLLARS.
i can take a plane.
oh the distance was at most from Changi to Tuas and a little bit more.

i am still glueing the pieces of my broken heart back.
why is Japan`s taxi so freggine expensive?!
i know they have auto open doors and all, but...

yah as you can see I am in shock.
it cost me about 7 dollars to get there by train and FREE shuttle bus.
but my dad was too absorbed in his medal game at the arcade and thus we missed the last FREE bus, so yah, we blew HUNDRED AND NINETEEN DOLLARS to cab home.
robbery.
movie cost us ￥4600 aka S$60+++
oh yes, TWO person.
and my dad slept through 80% of the movie.
and he still paid an extra S$7 for the middle seats to sleep.
the system here is weird.
the middle seats are not for sale unless you pay an extra S$7.
like HURH.
if this is Singapore i bet it will be empty and half way through the movie, somehow people cant see the subtitles properly and have to move back to the middle seats from the front.
yeps, dont ask how much we spent at the arcade.
oh, dinner cost S$150 for 2.
now i know why even part timers are being so highly paid in Japan.
you cant really save much money if everything cost these much everywhere.
my nose feels heavy with my a 500 bucks glasses resting on it T _ T
now i cant put it next to my pillow when i sleep, i have to literally treat it like gold.

i cant count how many time i`ve listen to Boku No Kimochi already.
might be about 100 since i discovered the song.
but i still find myself crying watching their MS performance.

Wentz is in charge of amusing and entertaining everyone while Teppei sits in one corner and giggle, grins and smile to himself (which is all that he need to do to get the whole place screaming)
his tension and character as a singer and actor is so so different ^^

my dad was on the phone with my mum
then he covered the phone and told me that my sis got carried off in the ambulance and is in the hospital
then i was ?! (grins wide and antiscipates better news)

after awhile more, then my dad hung up the phone.
so i asked what happened, and he said...
